Soto Lamongan is a chicken soto typical of Lamongan Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia. Soto Lamongan is known as one of the most savory soto because it has a characteristic koya powder topping that is not shared by other soto. It could be this kind of flavor that makes Soto Lamongan famous and loved by many people in Indonesia.

For practicality reasons, the meat in chicken soto is generally served shaved (torn into small pieces following the meat fibers). But in Soto Lamongan, the chicken meat is sliced thinly before being mixed with other ingredients and broth.

Soto Lamongan's side dishes include fried tempeh, perkedel (fried mashed potato), fried tofu and crackers. The addition of sambal and lime adds to the flavor of this dish.
